The African Humanitarian Honors & Summit (AHHS) 2027 has opened nominations for its humanitarian awards and announced a 25 per cent early-bird discount for delegates ahead of the event scheduled for Nairobi in April 2027.

Founded by Emmanuel Anabueze and organised by a team working towards the 2027 gathering, AHHS aims to recognise individuals, organisations, philanthropists and community leaders whose work is contributing to humanitarian action and social impact across Africa.

The awards will recognise individuals, organisations, community leaders and institutions whose work is making a meaningful contribution to humanitarian action and development across the continent.

Through the nominations process, members of the public are invited to identify changemakers whose work deserves recognition and a wider platform.

“Recognise their work. Celebrate their impact. Give their story the platform it deserves,” the organisers said in their call for nominations.

Nominations Open for Humanitarian Honours

The AHHS 2027 awards are expected to spotlight people and institutions making a difference through humanitarian service, philanthropy, community development and other impact-driven initiatives.

The organisers are encouraging the public to nominate deserving candidates, providing an opportunity to bring attention to initiatives addressing challenges affecting communities across Africa.

Nominations can be submitted through the official website at theahhs.org/honors.

The awards form part of the broader summit programme, which combines recognition of humanitarian contributions with discussions and networking opportunities for participants from different sectors.

Delegates Offered 25 Per Cent Early-Bird Discount

Alongside the nominations announcement, organisers have introduced a 25 per cent early-bird discount for delegates who register in advance.

The offer is intended to encourage early registration for the five-day programme, which will feature a summit, masterclass sessions, strategic networking, humanitarian honours, an awards dinner and a Kenya experience.
