Busia Governor Dr Paul Otuoma has backed President William Ruto’s call for “Usawa ni Sawa,” criticising the Linda Mwananchi faction over what he termed a lack of a clear agenda, accusing its leaders of relying on political slogans rather than offering solutions to Kenyans’ challenges.

Speaking at Lwanyange in Nambale Sub-County during the launch drive for the Women and Youth Funds, Otuoma defended the Kenya Kwanza administration, saying its development record was visible through ongoing infrastructure projects, including markets, stadiums and roads.

The governor urged residents to assess the government based on its development projects, as political leaders intensify their campaigns and mobilize support ahead of the 2027 General Election.
