MP Zaheer Jhanda Slams Visionless Opposition

MP Zaheer Jhanda has criticized Kenya’s opposition describing it as a shameless and scattered formation lacking vision and unity.

In his words, “A Shameless Scattered Opposition United in Hate Than Vision Trying to Topple H.E @WilliamsRuto who’s Delivered Economic Wins in 3 yrs. A Tribal Cartel with No Chance, No Plan, Confused Parading @DrMukhisaKituyi as your Spokesman with Zero youth or Fresh Ideas.✌️✌️”

The MP’s statement comes at a time when President William Ruto’s administration is marking three years in office, with the Head of State credited for spearheading various economic reforms aimed at stabilizing the country and improving livelihoods.

Jhanda argues that instead of acknowledging these gains or providing alternative solutions the opposition is focused on divisive politics driven by hate.

By branding them as a “tribal cartel,” Jhanda suggests that the opposition’s foundation is not policy or development but narrow interests that do not serve ordinary Kenyans.

His criticism extends to the choice of Dr. Mukhisa Kituyi as the group’s spokesman, which he portrays as a symbol of confusion and lack of fresh thinking.

According to the MP the opposition’s leadership vacuum is evident in its failure to tap into Kenya’s youthful population or generate new ideas that reflect the realities of today.

In contrast President Roto’s government, he maintains, has demonstrated a results-driven approach that has already delivered economic benefits within a relatively short time.

Jhanda’s remarks underline the growing political debate about Kenya’s future — a debate that pits a government focused on economic transformation against an opposition he claims is disorganized, outdated, and visionless.
