Arsenal secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Nottingham Forest, while Manchester United were held to a 1-1 draw by Leeds United in Sunday’s Premier League action.

Arsenal needed a late breakthrough to overcome a stubborn Forest side at the City Ground, with substitute Noni Madueke scoring in the 80th minute to seal all three points. His effort took a deflection on its way into the net, rewarding the Gunners’ persistence after a difficult attacking display.

Meanwhile, Manchester United were left frustrated after surrendering their lead against Leeds at Elland Road. Bryan Mbeumo put United ahead in the 35th minute, but Dominic Calvert-Lewin equalised shortly after the break to earn Leeds a share of the points.

The contrasting results gave Arsenal a valuable win in their title defence, while United were left searching for greater consistency as pressure continued to build on manager Michael Carrick.
