Wiper Patriotic Front leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has rejected reported attempts to bring him into President William Ruto’s administration, insisting he will remain outside the government.
Speaking during a church service at AIC Kyemutheke in Kyumvi, Machakos County, Kalonzo dismissed reports of efforts to woo him into the administration, declaring, “Thank you, but no thank you.”
Quoting Proverbs 29:2, Kalonzo said Kenyans would rejoice under righteous leadership, pledging that the United Alternative Government would address corruption, high taxation, abductions and killings.
He also mourned victims of recent road accidents along the Mombasa Highway, promising to prioritise improvements to the road if elected president.
The Wiper leader paid tribute to veteran journalist Kitavi Mutua, who was working with him on his second autobiography before his death.
Kalonzo further called on county governments, particularly those in snakebite-prone areas such as Kitui, to ensure health facilities are adequately stocked with antivenom.
