Gor Mahia’s star midfielder Austin Odhiambo has reportedly had a falling out with head coach Sinisa Mihic, according to Daily Nation sources.

The incident is said to have occurred during Monday’s training session, where Odhiambo walked out on the session following a disagreement with Mihic. Club management later intervened, instructing the player to return and issue an apology before being allowed to rejoin the squad.

Coach Mihic did not mince words when addressing the situation. “Austin is a talented player, but he must be disciplined and follow my instructions—not anyone else’s,” Mihic stated. “In the match against Sofapaka, he should have been substituted.

He deliberately slowed the game down despite having Benson Omalla and Bryson Wangai in scoring positions, yet chose not to pass the ball.”

The coach further emphasized his stance on discipline and authority within the squad. “I am the coach. If he believes he’s beyond following my instructions, then he has no place in this team,” Mihic asserted.
