Kawaya Declares Ruto Victory, Warns Kalonzo Over Gachagua Alliance

President William Ruto’s Ukambani pointman and Mwala MP Vincent Kawaya has boldly told the Kamba Nation that President William Ruto will cruise to victory with a massive margin in next year’s election, warning that the region risks being left behind once again by opposition politics.

Kawaya issued a stern warning to Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, cautioning him against continued association with former DP Rigathi Gachagua, saying the alliance is a direct ticket to political isolation.

He dismissed claims that Kalonzo’s closeness to Gachagua could make him President, terming them political lies meant to mislead the Kamba community.

The UDA National Organizing Secretary cited a mass exodus of key allies from Gachagua’s DCP, warning that by 2027 the party risks crumbling into pieces.

Among those who have walked away or distanced themselves from DCP include: Juja MP George Koimburi,Former Kigumo MP Jamleck Kamau, Githunguri MP Gathoni wa Muchomba,Former Nyeri Town MP Ngunjiri Wambugu,Maragua MP Mary Wamaua and Scores of Mt. Kenya MPs who have since shifted allegiance back to President Ruto’s camp.

Kawaya told Kalonzo to read the signs of the times, warning that failure to walk away early could leave him politically stranded yet again, just as in previous election cycles.

He was speaking during the launch of the KSh 50 million Mwala ESP Market project in Mwala Town.
