Tinderet Member of Parliament Hon. Julius K. Melly,CBS, MP has said that if elected Governor of Nandi County in 2027 polls, he will prioritize improved healthcare access for vulnerable families and undertake major reforms in the Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) sector.
He pledged to introduce a medical cover program aimed at supporting less fortunate households, noting that access to healthcare should not be limited by financial hardship.
On education, Melly said his administration would focus on strengthening ECDE through improved teacher welfare, better learning infrastructure, and standardized systems to enhance quality and consistency across the county.
He emphasized that ECDE forms the foundation of education and requires urgent attention to ensure learners receive a strong start in their academic journey.
The legislator further stated that his development agenda will focus on equity, improved service delivery, and strengthening key social sectors to uplift living standards in Nandi County
