Farmers in songeto area, in keiyo north constituency, Elgeyo Marakwet county are counting huge losses after marauding Elephants from rimoi national reserve attack farms and destroying their crops.
The farmers lead by fred kiprop, have pointed the finger to the county government of elgeyo marakwet as well as the kenya wildlife service for what they claimed have not helped them to mitigate the situation following the frequent attacks.
The residents have threatened to kill all the animals if the government does not intervene quickly and bring a lasting solution to the human wild-life conflict.
