Earlier last year, through his foundation,the incoming MP decided to empower small scale business women through issuing of Umbrellas & aprons.More than 2,000 Women benefited from the initiative marking a genesis of development directly to the people from Hon Joseph.
Hon Joseph Waswa’s dedication to empowering women in Webuye West is commendable. Providing umbrellas to roadside sellers is a tangible example of his commitment to creating a more supportive and equitable environment.
This initiative not only provided protection from the elements but also acknowledged the vital role these women play in our community.Women have so far thanked the incoming MP immensely for his visionary leadership and a great inspiration to the community.
