Morrison, Waithira Shine as SportPesa League Gala Celebrates Season’s Best

The inaugural SportPesa League Gala brought together the biggest stars of the season, with several outstanding performers receiving recognition for their contributions throughout a memorable campaign.

Gor Mahia midfielder Enock Morrison emerged as one of the night’s biggest winners after claiming both the Best Midfielder award and the coveted Most Valuable Player (MVP) accolade.

The Ghanaian playmaker was instrumental in Gor Mahia’s successful season, consistently delivering match-winning performances and controlling games from the heart of midfield.

Murang’a Seal forward Joe Waithira also enjoyed a remarkable evening after scooping two major awards. The prolific striker won the Golden Boot for finishing as the league’s top scorer and was further honored with the Players’ Player of the Season award, highlighting the respect he has earned from fellow professionals across the league.

Kariobangi Sharks youngster Humphrey Aroko was named Young Player of the Year following a breakthrough campaign that established him as one of Kenyan football’s brightest prospects. His impressive performances throughout the season caught the attention of fans and pundits alike.
